Tayfa (“we”) runs tayfa.ai to describe and distribute our desktop app. This policy covers the website and waitlist. The Tayfa app is a separate BYOK client: it does not require an account, and the current release does not include in-app telemetry.

Information we collect

  • Waitlist: If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit.
  • Website analytics: If enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics on tayfa.ai. It is intended to collect aggregated, cookie-light traffic data — not a per-user profile tied to your identity.
  • Contact: If you email us, we receive what you send (address, message contents).

App (for clarity): The desktop app stores settings and your last session locally, keeps API keys in your OS keychain when available, and sends chat audio to providers only when you use cloud dictation or send messages to OpenAI, Anthropic, or your own Ollama instance. That processing is governed by those providers’ policies, not this website.

How we use information

  • Waitlist emails: to notify you about Tayfa releases and the planned hosted (no–API-key) tier.
  • Analytics: to understand site traffic and improve the page.
  • Support email: to respond to you.

We do not sell your email address.
